the dark knight rises
The dark knight rises has a specialised franchise in which has been made into sequals of many other batman films. It begain with batman reutrns, then the dark knight and now the dark knight rises. This is typical of an american production as it feeds of other exsisting ideas which come from the marvel movies. The producers must have spent a lot of money in buying the rights to the films plot and idea as it was not an orginal one, this is used a lot in american films as they have the money to splash about. Because they also know that marvel films have been a hit before, they are sure to garuentee a profit bale return form their audience. christian nolan had also directed the previous batman films, which means that there is a safey net for their audience to almost garuenteee to watch the latest film. Because hardcore batman fans would have seen the first two, they would also want to see the last one because of its sequal and follow the story. The first movie batman begins spent a less $150 million on it and in return got $374,218,673. the dark knight then rised up to $185 million and had a return with $1,004,558,444. And the latest one the dark knight rises cost $250–300 million and had a return of $1,081,041,287. we can see a trend as each movie has been made, more money has been spent and also the return has increased. This insures that this movie would be successful and attract a wide audience.
MUSIC:
Music in the dark knight rises also help contribute to the success of the film as a world famous composer Hans Zimmer had been confirmed that he would be retuning to do the music for this film. This is because James Newton Howard originally did it for Bat man begins and The dark knight, however turned this down as he thought Zimmer would be better suited. Zimmer said he wanted to go into a completely different direction for Bane's theme tune. Zimmer choice voices in a most interesting way as he wanted thousands and hundred of them so he tweeted, asking people who wanted to be a part of it, where the fans could also be involved and part of the music creation.
Costume:
This is part of the low paid section. the costume designer was Lindy Hemming. The hardest part was to make the Batsuit, which consisted of 110 separate pieces, each of which had to be replicated dozens of times over the course of the production. One of the main things which made batman movies so compelling is their tone of plausibility. The final version of the Bat takes its design cues from the Harrier Jump Jet, Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey and the Boeing AH-64 Apache.
The Bat's shape and size was a major challenge to film as the practical effects over computer-generated imagery. To actually make it fly, it had to be supported by wires, which were suspended from cranes and helicopters. When designing the batcave set, they found the idea of flooding it and having Batman's equipment rise from the water. Another set was designed for this as an underground prison, a rough-hewn labyrinthine of stone cells that was 120 foot. The prison had to be filmed in Jodhpur, India, chosen because the "forbidding landscape added to the desolation".
